Jae and Ellie got married at the beautiful Auckland inner city venue called The Mantells. We are so fortunate with all what New Zealand nature has on offer for us, that we sometimes forget how incredible and intimate a beautiful urban wedding can be. Ellie and Jae choose the mediterranean inspired courtyard as their ceremony location, with beautiful flowers done by Lux Floral Studio. By the end of the ceremony it started to rain which made all the guest flee for shelter, luckily for the couple they were covered underneath a canopy so the rest of the service was able to continue. For their couple photos I wanted to take them somewhere special, away from the urban but still close to the venue. What can I say, you can't beat my love for nature out of me even if you tried! I was so pleased to stumble upon the incredible Puhutukawa's on top of the volcano right next door to the venue. We were able to create some intimate photos before heading back to the fun of the reception. Their reception was held inside the beautiful Mantells, lit with candle lights filled with love. There were some beautiful speeches which brought most of the guests to tears. To finish it all of everyone got to light some sparklers which was so sweet and special. Ellie and Jae it was so special being part of your special day and I feel super honoured I got to witness and capture you getting married.
