Harriet and Jacob's intimate wedding at Solscape was full of personal touches and a true reflection of their value's in life. They had chosen to get married with a select few friends and family at the incredible eco retreat Solscape in Raglan. By allowing everything to take place in one location with not too big a numbers, meant they could have a lot of quality time with the guests, enjoy good food and listing to beautiful music.
Harriet and Jacob's ceremony was full of meaningful and personal touches. There was live streaming for their family overseas, special written notes handed to the children, touching words from family in Samoan language and more. Their celebrant Yvette Reid had prepared a beautiful ceremony for them, a true reflection of their love for each other.
Raglan is a great location to get married at, with beautiful photo locations within close proximity to most wedding venue's. We quickly drove to the top of the beach for a short photo session of the two of them, before returning to Solscape for family photos. The reception was a super mellow affair with beautiful organic food, a long dining table styled by Wildly Madly Deeply and heart-felt speeches.
There are so many different ways how you can create a wedding that reflects who you are as a couple. Whether it's size, venue, order of the day, fun new traditions or the way it all looks. I felt Harriet and Jaco did exactly that, and I still feel very honoured to have captured their special day.
