The Black Barn Tuahiwi at lake Tarawera is one of my favourite wedding venues so when Tabitha and Tim reached out to see if I could be part of their epic wedding day I was thrilled! With everything on site, beautiful lake views and stunning nature it’s not hard to see why many couples choose to get married here. Tabitha and Tim had picked a stunner of a day with clear lake views and underneath the big blue sky Tabitha and Tim said their I do’s at what must have been one of the most emotional wedding ceremonies I have ever witnessed (and there are a few!). The look in Tim’s eyes and the tears streaming down his face as Tabitha was walking down the aisle was something many of us will not forget. After the ceremony we all collectively gasped for air, and with the pressure off it was time to celebrate! Speeches followed as well as some fun bridal party photos in the nearby forest. I took Tabitha and Tim to a viewpoint nearby with their sweet little doggie and gave them some space just the two of them to take it all in. The happy emotions of being married, being grateful of having found each other and the beautiful future that lies before them.
